The Secret Beach

If you are longing for a small secluded beach close to Santa Teresa, Playa Suecos in Mal Pais will become your new favorite place! To get to Playa Suecos, keep on driving all the way to the end of the Mal Pais road. until it turns into a dirt road. You will pass Mal Pais Soccer Field on your right than  Fish Market, and shortly after the road will end in a small parking lot in the jungle. Park your car, grab your snorkeling and beach gear and head to the playa! 

I highly recommend visiting the beach when the tide is low (or around that time) this way you will be able to enjoy everything that this location has to offer- you can hike between the rocks, or climb on some of them, snorkel, collect rocks and crabs and swim in the clear & shallow water.
